Corporate Policy

TMJ Investment has established several corporate policies and is working to carry out sound business operations. The following policies will be made known to our employees as well as to the public.

Privacy policy (personal information protection policy)

We will comply with applicable sections of the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and regulations of Japan, handle personal information and personal data (collectively “personal information” from now on) properly and securely, and strive to protect personal information based on the following policy.

  1. Acquisition of personal information 
    We will acquire personal information by appropriate and fair means.
     

  2. Restrictions on the use of personal information 
    We will obtain and use personal information only when it is necessary to carry out our business and/or when it is required by law. In addition, we will not use personal information beyond the scope of our business without the consent.
     

  3. Secure management of personal information
    We will accurately and safely maintain personal information, and in order to prevent loss, falsification, damage or leakage, we will manage personal information appropriately and take necessary preventive and corrective measures. In addition, we will provide necessary and appropriate supervision to all employees, contractors and other related parties, including our officers.
     

  4. Disclosure / correction / suspension of use of personal information 
    When there is a request for disclosure / correction / suspension of use of personal information, we will promptly handle the request in accordance with laws and regulations after confirming requester’s personal identity.
     

  5. Continuous improvement 
    In order to implement our privacy policy, we will formulate internal rules regarding the handling of personal information, review the contents as appropriate, and make necessary improvements on a continuous basis.

Handling of personal information

  1. Purposes of personal information use 
    We may use your personal information and personal data held by us for the following purposes in connection with our investment and real estate operations. Additionally, if requested from our customers or potential customers, we will discontinue providing such services or using such personal information.
     

    • Contacting customers for their feedback and inquiries, information on new services, questionnaires, information on various campaigns, and providing our services.

    • Disclosure / provision to third parties to the extent necessary to promote and achieve the purposes of personal information use in 1 above.

    • Sales and marketing activities related to the purposes of personal information use in 1 above.

    • Customer trend analysis and product development research analysis related to our business.
       

  2. Disclosure / Provision to Third Parties 
    In addition to cases where our customers’ personal information are provided as required by laws and regulations, we may provide such to third parties to the extent necessary to promote our business and achieve our business objectives.
     

    • We may outsource the handling of personal information to third parties after obtaining a confidentiality agreement from such service providers regarding the handling of personal information in advance.

    • When requested by public authorities such as police, public prosecutors offices, courts and consumer centers to disclose information.

Policy to prevent damage caused by antisocial forces

TMJ Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established the following policy to prevent damage caused by antisocial forces. All officers and employees comply with this policy and ensure our operations remain in compliance and secure. We hereby declare that we will fulfill our social responsibilities in conducting our corporate activities by adhering to the policy.

  1. Response as an organization 
    Our entire organization will take a resolute response to unreasonable demands and threats from antisocial forces while ensuring the safety of our officers and employees (including contract employees and temporary workers). Our organization as a whole will act accordingly.
     

  2. Blocking Relationships with Antisocial Forces 
    We will block and reject all and any relationships with antisocial forces, including business relationships.
     

  3. Cooperation with external institutions 
    We will take systematic measures in preparation for unreasonable demands from antisocial forces, and if necessary, cooperate with external institutions (Violence Expulsion Movement Promotion Center, Metropolitan Police Department, etc.).
     

  4. Legal response in an emergency 
    We will legally respond to unreasonable demands from antisocial forces from both civil and criminal perspectives.
     

  5. Response in case of scandals 
    Even if the unreasonable demands of antisocial forces are due to scandals in our business activities or scandals of our officers and employees and even if such scandals are in fact true or false, we will not conceal the scandals or carry out any transactions with antisocial forces.
     

  6. Refusal to provide funds to antisocial forces 
    We will not provide any funding to antisocial forces for any reason.
